Will this Android radio fit my car?

Every unit is listed by exact vehicle make, model, and year range. Check the product title before ordering. If you're unsure about your trim level or a facelift model, WhatsApp us your registration before you buy and we'll confirm fitment at no charge.

Do I need any extra wiring or adapters?

No. Every Blackbelt Audio unit includes a vehicle-specific plug-and-play wiring harness, CANBUS module, and reverse camera cable. No wire cutting required. Certain uncommon trim variations may need an additional adapter — WhatsApp us if you want to confirm before ordering.

Can I install it myself?

Many customers do. The plug-and-play harness makes it straightforward and most installations take 1-2 hours with basic tools. We recommend professional installation for CANBUS-dependent vehicles such as VW, BMW, Mercedes, and Ford SYNC models to ensure steering wheel controls and vehicle integration work correctly. Any car audio fitment centre can do it for R350-R600.

Does the radio support steering-wheel controls?

Yes. All units support your original steering wheel buttons via the included CANBUS module. After installation, you run a quick learning sequence in the unit's settings to assign each button — takes about 2 minutes.

Does it have Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto?

Yes — both are wireless on all current Blackbelt Audio units. Connect your iPhone or Android phone without a cable. First-time setup takes about 60 seconds, after which your phone connects automatically every time you get in the car.

Can I use Google Maps or YouTube on it?

Yes. The unit runs full Android 13 with access to the Google Play Store. You can use Google Maps, Waze, Spotify, YouTube, and any other Android app. You can also download offline maps over Wi-Fi so navigation works without mobile data — useful on farm roads and remote areas.

How long does delivery take?

In-stock units are dispatched within 1-2 business days and delivered in 2-5 business days nationwide. Pre-order units (clearly marked on the product page) are dispatched within 18-22 business days. We'll always confirm your stock status and estimated delivery time before dispatch.

What warranty do I get?

All Blackbelt Audio units come with a 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects. This exceeds the 6-month minimum required under the South African Consumer Protection Act. Professional installation is recommended but not a condition of the warranty. To claim, WhatsApp us a short video of the fault and we'll sort it out — repair, replacement, or refund at your choice.

Can I return or exchange my order?

Yes. You can return any unopened unit within 7 days for a full refund under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act. If your unit develops a manufacturing fault within 12 months, we repair, replace, or refund it. Contact us via WhatsApp before returning anything and we'll guide you through the process.
